Recircualtion Systems

A ball screw assembly is composed of a selection of components, for example the screw, ball screw nut and ball bearings. Other components are sometimes added, such as cages and wipers. The recirculation system is arguably the component that is most critical to the ball screw.

This part of the ball screw apparatus is essential, as it is this apparatus that moves the ball bearings from the bottom of the ball screw nut back to the top. This is therefore the component that keeps the ball bearings in constant circulation, making the ball screw nut move continuously along the screw shaft.

Ball Screw Wipers

A ball screw assembly is is usually fairly simple but they still contain some small parts that must be free to move. If all of the parts are working correctly, the ball screw should function smoothly and easily, while the ball bearings roll along the threads and the ball screw nut moves along the screw.

Introduction to NSK Ball Screw

NSK is the principal ball screw producer globally today. Controlling friction is a principal motivation and, this firm produces a large selection of ball screws, covering the vast majority of requirements. NSK Ball Screws can be purchased in any size, whether it be very tiny or very large. You can acquire an NSK Ball Screw for just about any situation, this includes mechanisms that manufacture LCDs and semiconductors, along with machine tools and general machinery.

NSK Ball Screws can be purchased in a particular type. A primary option is the BSS Series, a product that can sustain high velocities but which emits only a small amount of noise.

Thompson Ball Screw Facts

Thompson Ball Screw
Thompson Ball Screws can be produced using one of two processes. They can be rolled or they can be ground. The rolling process involves pushing steel into molds to create the ball screw, and grinding involves the creation of thread profiles and leads in an extremely precise manner.

Like the majority of these tools, a Thompson Ball Screw has high levels of efficiency, at least ninety percent and sometimes up to ninety-eight percent.
